As a partner and Director of Legal Operations, Amelia (Mia) Baker plays an important role in advancing our firm’s commitment to efficiency and transparency in the delivery of legal services. Mia is responsible for continuously improving the business infrastructure of our firm and ensuring we have the people and processes in place to meet or exceed our clients’ evolving expectations. On a day-to-day basis, she leads our project management, process improvement, attorney recruitment, training and retention, and business development efforts. She also works closely with our firm’s partners and clients to define pricing arrangements and service delivery models with the right balance of flexibility and predictability to drive successful, long-term engagements.
Mia draws on 15 years of experience in the legal industry, including practice as a government and regulatory affairs attorney. For the past 10 years she has focused on instituting robust project management capabilities at our public affairs and communications agency affiliate which have resulted in improved operations, heightened quality control and the delivery of exceptional value to clients. Previously, she practiced law at a large international firm in New York City.
